According to fema.gov, There are about 3000 Dryer fires that cause home fires every year Across the United States. In the dryer vent cleaning and appliance repair industries there are Many more reports of dryer fires that are isolated to the dryer cavity. There are reports of upwards of 17,000 dryer fires across the United States. Most of which are not reported to FEMA.
Dryer on fire LLC has Seen eight fires that ignited on the inside of the dryer cavity since 2009. One of the main reasons that we named our company Dryer on fire was for this very reason. The eight fires that we came across in the dryer cavity were not even something people were aware of when having us investigate. Had they known that there was a Dryer fire they would have called the fire department. Fortunately, these fires were isolated to the dryer cavity.
Of the eight dryer fires that we did see only 4 fires devastated the dryer to the point where it was no longer usable. There is nothing an appliance technician could do to save these dryers. These people were extremely lucky that the dryer fires did not advance past the dryer cavity. Another thing to keep in mind Is all of the fires that we were eyewitness to were the ones that are in the Boise Idaho area. It’s obvious that there are many more happening all over The treasure valley. These are some of the images that we captured the burnt lint inside the dryer cavity.

We also offer a dryer vent cleaning to prevent airflow issues that may exacerbate potential fires inside the dryer. Our slogan has become a minor fix to avoid a major catastrophe. We are trying to spread awareness about getting ahead of the problem before it becomes a problem. Not only will maintaining and preventing fires inside the dryer, this will also improve the performance of the dryer and prevent failures that may require appliance repair.
